Guest Story

Korrina.jpg

The best kind of update πŸ’• After 36 days in the NICU, sweet baby Korrina is finally going home. We are so incredibly happy for mom, dad, and baby Korrina as they begin this next chapter together at home. Moments like this are what Home for Healing is all about. Walking alongside families during the hardest days and celebrating the beautiful victories with them. Welcome home, baby Korrina. πŸ’™

Words from the Director

There is a lot of excitement at Home for Healing right now!

Our brand-new Studs & Stones: An Evening in White is just around the corner on May 2, our Diamonds & Studs program has reached capacity with 60 incredible students, and our Golf Classic has moved to Chenal Country Club on June 1. It is a season full of energy, growth, and community. But in the middle of all the planning and celebration, the reason we exist never leaves our hearts.

Every day inside our home tells a different story.

A 52-year-old woman is suddenly navigating life after losing her husband to an unexpected heart attack.
A NICU couple is finally carrying their tiny baby out of the hospital after months of fear and uncertainty.
A cancer patient ringing the bell and preparing to return home to their family.
And others still in the fight of their lives, finding strength simply by having a safe place to stay.

At Home for Healing, these families are given more than a room. They are given comfort, stability, and community during some of the most difficult days of their lives—all completely free of charge because of the generosity of our donors, sponsors, and supporters.

You make this possible.

You make it possible for a family to stay close to lifesaving treatment.

You make it possible for someone facing the unimaginable to feel a little less alone.

You make it possible for our house to truly feel like home.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in this mission. If you have ever wondered how you can make a difference, come see it for yourself. Come visit. Come volunteer. Come be part of what makes this place so special.

I promise you this: you will receive far more than you give.

Sincerely,
