Guest Spotlight

It's heartwarming to hear about Jonathan and Tiffany's journey with their twins, Bryer and River, at Home for Healing. Despite the early arrival of the twins and the initial complications they faced, it's wonderful to know that they received the care they needed and that their stay at Home for Healing provided comfort and support during a challenging time.

The fact that Jonathan and Tiffany were able to be with Bryer and River every day, participating in their care and monitoring their progress, surely made a significant difference in the twins' development and in the parents' peace of mind. The ability to stay close to their infants during this critical period must have been a tremendous relief for them.

The mention of the supportive environment at Home for Healing, with kind staff members and pleasant interactions with neighbors, underscores the importance of emotional support and community during times of stress and uncertainty. Being able to relax, cook their own meals, and feel at home surely contributed to Jonathan and Tiffany's overall well-being during their stay.

Now, with Bryer and River ready to go home, it's a joyous occasion for the entire family. Their journey at Home for Healing may have been a brief chapter, but it's clear that it made a lasting impact on Jonathan, Tiffany, and their precious twins. It's heartening to know that they felt like they had found a second home during their time there, and hopefully, they will carry those positive memories with them as they continue their journey as a family.

Words from our Director

Each day when I step into work, I'm greeted by the unknown, a thrilling aspect that keeps me engaged and alert. However, amidst the unpredictability, what remains constant is the resilience of the guests we serve at our home.

My team and I witness firsthand the unexpected hurdles that our guests encounter, and it's our mission to alleviate their burdens. Whether it's battling cancer, assuming the role of a caregiver, or facing the anxiety of a loved one in the ICU, we stand by them, pooling our resources to ensure they only focus on what truly matters.

Currently, within our walls, there's a young mother struggling with stage 3 cancer while her newborn fights for life in the NICU. Despite her unimaginable challenges, her spirit remains unyielding. Every day, she graces us with her radiant smile, grateful for the sanctuary our home provides.

None of this would be possible without the unwavering support of our community. Your generous contributions, both monetary and in-kind, enable us to extend a helping hand to those in dire need.

I am immensely grateful for the opportunity to serve and support so many individuals during their most trying times. Thank you for entrusting me with this privilege.

Sincerely,
