Guest Spotlight
We have wonderful news! Last week Earl was finally able to ring the bell signifying the end of his cancer treatments! It was a huge relief and a moment of triumph for Earl.
"Home for Healing has truly been a warm home away from home for my husband and me. The facility offers all the comforts of a well-equipped home, including luxurious bedrooms, bathrooms, a washer and dryer, microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerators in every room. They also provide plenty of snacks, water, and sodas daily. My husband and I couldn’t ask for a more safe and loving environment while we’re at UAMS for his treatments."

As you are taking family vacations, having some "me" time, and enjoying the summer, we continue to serve even more in need than ever before. We currently have 22 families on the waitlist for a room downstairs in our NICU, ICU, and CVICU area. I wish there were something I could do to help these families sleeping in their cars, not being able to see their loved ones in the hospital, or sleeping full-time on a couch in the hospital.
Our city is blessed with no-cost lodging opportunities for these families in need, but we need MORE. Do you want to be a part of helping these families in need? There is always room at Home for Healing for your volunteering time, ideas, and willingness to give to others. Thank you for allowing us to serve as many as possible and help us serve even more.
